Subject: Rolling Stones harp playing

Mick Jagger DID NOT play harp on the early Stones albums, as I
recall. It was Brian Jones, their ill-fated founding member, who
was the biggest blues fan in that group. Only after Jones died
did Jagger pick up the harmonica.

Check the credits on those early albums. I believe you’ll see
harp credted to Mr. Jones. His playing was actually half-decent –
better than what Jagger played in the middle period stuff.
