Subject: DOD delay pedal

BC said he had a pedal a few years ago that, though very nice with metal
construction, that had extra gain that made for a nasty digital distortion
sound even when the effect was off. He thought it was a DOD.

I purchased a DOD delay pedal used. It hasn't worked well at all. My
bullet mic loses it's punch though it, perhaps because there is extra gain.
It degrades the sound even when off. I've thought it also may be defective,
because it emits some background noises sometimes, cuts out at others.
I thought the price was too good to be true, and it was. Ah well . . .
