Subject: Re: Beeswax Alternative? CAUTION

Wow I did not know this about the castor bean. After hearing your warning I
called two of my local pharmacies to double check about castor oil.The
pharmacist`s both stated that castor oil was consumed by humans as a laxitive
for many years.
The one pharmacist stated that castor oil may be hard to find and suggested
minneral oil.Im not sure what the minnerals will do to the reeds, plates and
covers (the only wood harp I own is a composit made by Richard
Sleigh,excelent harp).
The harp I mentioned needs no gaskets It`s as tight as it can be.
Although I do remember taking castor oil as a child for those "Irregular
moments".
I most deffinately appreciate Johns warning. It made me think, and reminded
me that, before I put anything on my harp ,WHITCH GOES IN MY MOUTH, I must
check it out for my self. Please do the same. Thank you
