Subject: All Music Contests

I haven't followed the MARS Contest thread that closely, but get the sense
there is some frustration about it.

Barbershop singers have a very well defined system for judging chorus and
quartets in competition. It would be reasonably easy to adapt SPEBSQSA
contest rules to any musical venue. There is enough objectivity in the
judging process to make the unavoidable subjectivity palatable (sp?).
