Subject: '65 Princeton Reverb tech. questions

A friend of mine just acquired a '65 Princeton Reverb amp, which, he plans to
use for harp, but primarily acoustic instuments/general use. He knows little
about amps, and asked me 2 questions, and i promised I'd ask u amp experts
out there. He asks, and i quote:

" 1) The tubes are Mullard GZ34, RCA 6v6, Mullard 12AX7, and RCA 7025. Do
these sound like original tubes? The specs show 3 12AX7's and 1 7025, but
the amp has 2 12AX7's and 2 7025's. What gives?
2) If these are the original tubes, should I replace them with something
new and store the originals, or does it matter? And what should I replace
them with (brands, sources)?

I want to protect the integrity of this amp, but I also want to use it. "

Much thanks in advance,
Ron
