I noticed that Allen was kind enough to mention the Bean Blossom Blues Fest. http://harpdepot.com/blues.html Bean Blossom was my dream of providing harmonica players with a chance to meet and jam with living legends like Snooky Pryor & Willie Foster. To experience the music of current harmonica superstars like Mike Stevens, RJ Mischo, & Blind Mississippi Morris. Enjoy the great vocals, lyrics, and neck rack harmonica playing of John Weston. The outright, entertaining talent of Harmonica Red and Sunny Girl! We'll be having 4 small(private, not open to the public - just harp players), interactive, workshops(more accurately they should be called "fellowships" or "visiting sessions") on Saturday, the 12th. Scheduled as follows: Willie Foster: 11am Snooky Pryor: 1pm Mike Stevens: 4pm John Weston: 6pm We've sold less than 20 tickets to harmonica players so the chances of getting to visit one on one with Snooky, Willie, Mike, and John are very good. We'll be selling all of their CDs at the fest so you can get them autographed or you can have Snooky sign the poster we had made featuring him. Plus, all these and many more are going to be performing concerts clear through 'til midnight Fri & Sat nights and 'til 3pm on Sun. It's a harmonica player's dream as there'll be campfires and guitar players searching for willing souls sportin' tin sandwiches!
