The 2nd Annual Covina Bluesapalooza Festival is sponsored by the Covina Cultural Arts Commision. The festival runs from noon to 8:30 PM at several venues located in Covina's Historic Downtown. Covina is located 20 miles East of Los Angeles in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley nestled between the 10 and 210 Freeways. Over a dozen performers are scheduled for this years event. This years headliner is Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, winner of the 1999 W.C. Handy Blues Award - Blues Band of the Year. The other performers include Tom Ball and Ken Sultan, Stan West Band, Ramona Smith, Doug MacLeod and Juke Logan, and BJ Sharp.

We are proud to announce the selection of Glenn Weiser as the second instructor for the 2000 Mini-Masterclass Workshop. Glenn is a three-time author of the harmonica and has been teaching and performing music full time for over twenty years. He has transcribed over seventy (70!) Little Walter songs, becoming one of the foremost experts on teaching the stylings of Little Walter. I am very excited to say that he will be one of the best clinicians that the Masterclass will ever have.
Class size is still limited to sixty people, make sure to sign up early before seats fill up. As an added bonus, the first ten people to sign up will receive a free Harmonica Travel Case.
