Subject: A few chromatic harp questions

Hello,
Out of curiosity I was wondering if anyone can help me find out the answers
to these questions:

* I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about bass harps other than
they are big and required the lungs and diaphragm of a whale. For instance
what is the note layout, how many holes do they have, are they chromatic,
are there different models or keys, etc, etc ? Or point me to a resource
that can answer these questions.

* 16 hole chrom owners out there, could you take a moment to let me know how
the holes are numbered and what key they are in ? On the HH280Cs (ie key of
C) I own the first four holes are numbered 1 to 4 with dots, then numbered 1
to 12 without dots. I take it the dots are an indicator for bass notes ?

* For anyone out there who owns a baritone twelve hole chromatic harp or a
chrom that is tuned to a key below middle C, can you help me with the note
arrangements and how the holes are numbered ? So far I have always assumed
12 hole harps are numbered 1 to 12 no matter what. But I am guessing
baritone tuned harps are numbered in a similar way as the 16 hole harps I
described above ??

* and on the off chance that anyone out there owns a chrometta or 10 hole
chromatic harp I would be interested in its details (Hohner Koch and slide
harps not included thanks anyway).

Any assistance with the above would be greatly appreciated.

Harp On!
