Jay Williams here, When our family's collection of wellworn 78's went to that place that no-one wantsta think about, I'd neglected to note the particulars on a few prize items. One is a 10-inch 78 of what sounds like a harmonica quartetperforming "China Town, my Chain Town" on one side and "Bugle Call Rag" on t'other. The performances and arrangements are absolutely stunning! I remember cryin' my butt off when I was maybe 6 or so to get that neighbor to gimme the record which, bless her ol' heart, she finally did. So that would have been in about l948. The record is obviously an electrical recording. The names "Gerome" and "Schwartz" come to mind as possible artist/composer names on the record. Can someone provide the info? And, if you want a dynamite copy, I declicked and depopped and denoised it with Cool Edit, and it really shines now! Thanks
