It appears that everything is up & running again. Sorry about the delay. here is what I know about what happened. Harp-L went down with the Net Results (Garply) server and the problem was with Net Results and nothing inherent with Harp-L itself. Harp-L is Y2K ready! Unfortunately, Net Results is a small company relying on technicians who have full time employment elsewhere, which is why these temporary glitches have lasted so long in the last few months. We are looking for solutions to this problem at Harp-L-Workers and we'll let you know what alternatives we are researching.
In the meantime, we have a few folks who are having rouble posting to Harp-L as well. if your posts haven't been getting through, let me know at: NewCal~acbell.net. Owner mail is also experiencing problems, so it is important to write me directly. I know Pete Fox has experienced this problem and sends his best to everyone. We'll get back to working on that. There are a number of ways to access harp-l and not all of them allow you to post. So, again, let me know if you are experienceing difficulty. Thanks for your patience and enjoy,
