Randy, I tried St. James Infirmary beginning on the 2nd Blow (5th position). It is interesting, but seemed a bit empty compared to beginning on the 4th Draw (3rd position?). Then I tried Summertime (Porgy & Bess) in 5th as opposed to 3rd.
Maybe (probably!) I'm missing something (like technique!), but the 3rd seems to have more benefit for minor blues.
