Subject: AB box for harp mic

Anyone out there have first-hand experience using an A-B box to be able to
quickly switch one mic between two different amps? Or maybe alternate one
mic between an amp (for grind) and then the P.A. (for a cleaner sound)?
Sounds like it might be pretty cool.
