Subject: $3.99 Hohner Harmonica

Bought my first ever harmonica the other day, next to the cash register,
right there at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant. And am having fun, figuring
out where to put the tongue and not and lealrning to play the little tune
that came with the harmonica, "oh when the saints...."

Well, you know the song by now. I'd like to learn the harmonica now, since
I love the sound of this cheapie and it would compliment my banjo pickin' I
am sure, in public places and such.

So, which would be my next to move-up-to-harmonica and what's a good book
or two to be watching for in the music stores, as a good introductory book
for the harmonica? I am guessing a chromatic harmonica is a more 'spensive
one and must have a foot pedal or something on it.

Yes, these are beginner questions and you've read them and answered them,
1,000,000,000 times or more on this list. So please, if you wish, reply to
these questions o-f-f-l-i-s-t, so as not to irritate the others.

Been on this list for a short time and it's downright informative. Am glad
I discovered this el cheap harmonica, which sounds pretty dern good for the
money. Thanks for your help, Bill
