the opening to "train train" is done by country/bluegrass musician shorty
medlocke. he is blackfoot singer/guitarist ricky medlocke's father. i am
not sure what else he has done.
the solo in the middle of the song is by cub koda. he is best known as the
leader, guitarist, and singer for brownsville station, and wrote their hit
"smokin' in the boys room." he has had a career as a respected music writer,
most notably in the collector oriented "goldmine," and also performed and
recorded with the remnants of hound dog taylor's houserockers after hound dog
passed away.
