Subject: Amp / Mic combos

Just curious what your best gear combos are. What're your favorites
and in what situations do they work best? Does anybody out there
ever use amps in tandem?

These days I'm hung on my Gibson Maestro (4x8 late 50's accordion amp)
with a Ruskin ceramic mic. I put in NOS Jensens and had a complete cap
job done on the Maestro. Probably got more money into it than I'll ever
get back out, but man is it sweet. This is the combo I use for band
rehearsal and recording.

For gigs (we get at least 1 every 2 months or so - smokin!) I use my
Sonny Jr.1 with either a vintage JT30 or Electrovoice 619 (with
customized volume and on/off sw. by Tom Ellis). I'd like to use the
SJr. and the Maestro together (harpers revenge). What's the best way
to do this? Y-cable or...?
