Sponsors wanted: Spring Harp Fest to benefit Blues in the Schools.
Saturday April 22, 2000 from noon to 6pm Harry Griffen Park Ampitheatre La Mesa, CA
Our goal: To donate one thousand harmonicas to the Blues in the Schools program.
We will be happy to accept donations ofharmonicas directly from manufacturers as well as cash donations to fund the purchase of harmonicas. We would like key of "C" 10 hole diatonic harmonicas to give to schoolchildren.
Also we will be having an Easter Egg hunt for kids as well as one for adults. We need prizes for the eggs. Raffle prizes are also needed. Gift certificates or music related merchandise will be particularly appreciated.
Suggested items include: harmonicas and harmonica accessories microphones, stands, cables amplifiers, speakers drums,drumsticks and heads hand percussion instruments (especially egg shakers of all colors!) guitars, guitar and bass strings, cords, picks, straps harmonica instruction books, tapes, CDs and videos
