For the record, I am one of those people that John refers to. So far
(only a few days), my experience with the Pignose G60VR is simply
fantastic. Although I have yet to test it out at a real venue, based on
what I can hear here in my basement with background accompaniment from my
300 watt stereo going full blast, this Pignose will have no difficulty
making itself clearly heard in most any setting.

As for service from John and Coast to Coast Music, all I can say is "well
done"! I ordered the Pignose G60VR late Sunday evening and it was
waiting for me Tuesday evening. All for under $400.00 (the price of the
amp is reasonable for a relatively compact amp with this much punch and
power, I think)! I am not affiliated with Coast to Coast Music and don't
benefit monitarily in any way from writing these comments, but you can be
sure that I am now a repeat customer!

Of course, I know there are other amps out there, some of them grand ole
vintage types, that will also give results that you are looking for, so
be sure to check them out, too, before making a decision. But I think my
decision to step up from the Peavey Classic 30 (which is a fairly decent
amp, I think) to the G60VR was a very good one!

Best of luck in your search.
