Subject: Amp covers and cases (No Harp Content!)

Hi folks!

I'm looking for a suitable cover for my new Pignose G60VR amp and I
thought some of you here on the list might be able to point me in the
right direction.

So far, I've been unable to dig up amp covers, in general, from on-line
vendors, and I don't even see them on the Pignose web site. I checked
with a good local music store here in Baltimore which sells a wide
variety and wide range of amps, but they don't stock covers or even cases
for any amps. The sales associate told me that some amp manufacturers
make covers fitted for specific amps they produce, and that he could
order these when requested, but that to his knowledge Pignose doesn't
even make covers for its amps. I plan on contacting Pignose and
suggesting another product line!

I mean, I think ALL amps should have at least covers made for them and
should be sold with them. Every amp I've seen thus far is fairly open to
the elements, especially in the rear, and I would think some sort of
barrier to use during transportation would be essential. I certainly
would like to protect my investment as best I can!

John Watts suggested having a cover made for this amp. This is not a bad
idea, but I'm looking for a quicker and easier fix. Seems to me that
there should be a cover out there somewhere that will work for me. Even
a cover that is just a little too large (a little too small won't work)
might be relatively easy to modify to fit reasonably well.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

My thanks in advance!
