Subject: Appreciating Sonny Boy II

John,

I for one appreciate your sentiments. Sonny Boy II
was my primary influence on harp when I was just
becoming interested. (Remember Sonny Boy Williamson
Live with the Yard Birds? My very first album
purchase!)

His mastery of rhythms in the Blues context was
absolutely masterful, and his lyrics and wry humor
hit the Blues right on the noggin.
