Hello All,
I am proud to announce that Paul Messinger is again an official organizer of the Summit.
The original harmonica summit was hosted and organized by Paul in Chapel
Hill. We were working together on the Harmonica Summit 2000 but Paul had to drop out because he was becoming overwhelmed by his thriving business. Now that things are under control, he is once again, available
to help me deliver the Summit in the best possible way. Anything that is
received from Paul Messinger regarding the Summit should be considered official. Thank you Paul for your original vision and your help.
Regrettably, RJ Mischo has canceled his plans to participate in the Summit. I am happy to report that Billy Branch is filling RJ's role. You can catch Billy with Dennis Gruenling on June 23, 2000.
Mars Music is conducting it's second annual harmonica contest. On May 9th, 2000 harmonica players can compete at their local Mars Music to win
an autographed set of Lee Oskar harmonicas, a Fender Amp and a trip to the Harmonica Summit to learn from the harmonica masters. The winner will also have an opportunity to join Kim Wilson on stage on June 22, 2000.
