Subject: Re: [HarpTalk] Mars Music store locations

I stopped in to the Mars store in Raleigh last week and the guy said that
they were looking at both NY and Jersey. I guess we'll see. As for the
store........It was great. I asked one of the guys there if he would call my
wife and tell her I was never coming home. It was a lot of fun to shop
around and check out all of the stuff there. They didnt have the greatest
harp collection but who does ????? The guy was telling me about the blowoff
and they hold it right there on the full stage that sits in the center of
the store. The store was very cool. For those of you who live in NC, there
was a shop accross the street called the music loft. This place was really
cool too. A little smaller but loaded with boutique and vintage amps. They
had Victorias, Kendricks, Top Hat's, Orange's, and many many more. If your
from around there and havent yet been, check it out.

or does it migrate from year to year?...i really wish i could go to this
but i have no idea where to stay b/c i hear that hotels are booked up the
wazzoo...any one know of any hotels that are still open?...one day i will
go...oh yes :)

I had nearly one hundred messages asking me "...is there a Mars Music
in my area" Some even forgot to tell me what area they are in. :-)

Here's the link that will tell you where all of the Mars stores are:
http://www.marsmusic.com/StoreLocations/index.htm

I wish there were more...

Good Luck to all who enter. As I said before, the Summit has team
with Mars to allow the winner of the Mars harmonica contest to attend
the Summit.

Even if you don't win the trip, please try to make arrangemenst to
attend. This is a one of a kind, once in a lifetime event. Never
before have all the great players of the world been able to converge
on one location. This is an event for all styles of music and for
both
chromatic and diatonic harmonicas.

Some of the greats in attendance:

Howard Levy - The Best Jazz Diatonic player
