Dear Friends: Noting this thread has given me (once again) the stark realization that I am in an exceptional place in the DFW area. Being able to go to a jam any one of several days a week (hosted by the ubiquitous Hash Brown), and then being able to call up virtually any tune in the book, is a rare blessing. How many of you would like to walk into a jam, look at the band, and be able to call up whatever Muddy, LW, BW, or Sonny Boy tune you wanted, and know it was going to happen? Or having a guitar player who is also a very fine harpist, knowing exactly how to back you up? It's not a fantasy: it's Dallas.
