Subject: Bushman Harmonica

I just got mine Bushman Harmonica and wanted to give everyone my impression.

A little background on my experience and abilities:

I am a beginner to intermediate player. Trying to get my tongue slapping
down. Currently working through some of Dave Barrett's instructional
material.

I have tried several different harmonicas.

Huang Star Performer
Hohner Blues Harp
Hohner Marine Band
Hohner Big River
Lee Oskar

I have played with gapping and 3M Micropore Tape and have improved sound &
playability of some of the above, but, I have come up with nothing that
plays better and sounds as good as the Bushman harmonica.

It is very comfortable in the mouth for working on the Tongue Blocking
(Slapping).

It is easier to play the my Lee Oskar.

It sounds great. Previously I was very dismayed listening to myself playing
along with Dave Barrett's CD's. My tone just sounded awful compared to
his. I Just got done playing along using the Bushman. It made a world of
difference.

I believe that John's description and www.harpdepot.com is very accurate.
John has done a wonderful job producing these.
