Only one month to go until the Ass'n of North Country Fiddlers 25th Annual Festival at Madrid, NY, [St. Lawrence County]Sunday, September 10. Make plans now to come jam with us and see how we've lasted 25 years. Although labeled "Fiddle Festival" we certainly welcome [and the crowd expects] ALL traditional country, B.G., and old-time musicians. This is an "open stage" festival with no hired, big name performers,[All on-stage performers WILL receive a gratuity]so the best musician coming might just be YOU. Musicians are scheduled to perform on a first-come basis starting Sunday morning. There's plenty of free rough camping [showers and bathrooms open]and parking-lot picking beginning FRIDAY, Sept. 7th. The party really wakes up on Saturday,[spaghetti dinner and dance] with Sunday's actual festival[10 am to dusk]capping the weekend.
