Subject: Big Walter and overblows

I was listening to Big Walter playing on the Jimmy Rogers track One
Kiss and it sounds to me like he is using a C harp in first position
and overblowing the 4th hole to get the minor 3rd.I've had heaps of
guys tell me that the "blues guys"(50s' Chicago etc) didn't use
overblows.Am i hearing it wrong or was the big guy an overblower?
