I don't usually crosspost, but I think this might be of general
interest to both groups.

I'll gladly share my method.

I have perfect pitch.

Now before I get a lot of backtalk - there is a course for perfect
pitch by David Lucas Burge. You've probably seen it advertised. and
you're probably just as skeptical as I was.

But - it WORKS. I know a couple of guys who've actually developed
perfect pitch using this course. And Burge himself developed perfect
pitch.

I spoke with Burge (well, actually typed - it was via email). They
offer a money back guarantee. They do get a few returns - something
like 5%, which isn't much. Most of these are folks who just wanted
to check it out.

I HIGHLY recommend perfect pitch. You have no idea how nice it is to
hear EVERYTHING and INSTANTLY know what key it's in, the chord
changes, and such.

You may have heard the old wives' tales about "the whole world being
out of key" and such. These aren't worth the baloney they're wrapped
in. They're always told by folks who don't have the ability, of
course. We perfect pitch possessors grew up in the same world
everyone else did. We simply adapt, just like everyone else. If
anything, I think we tend to be MORE tolerant of off key music.

BTW - I'm not associated with Burge, nor do I get commissions, or
anything like that. I just know that a lot of folks who have a
musically tough go of things will find life much easier by developing
perfect pitch. Besides, the more perfect pitch possessors there are,
the better the whole music world will be. I'd like nothing better
than to have a whole band of perfect pitch possessors. Especially
the drummer.
