Hi Everyone, It has gotten to the point where I can't take it anymore, and have to put my 2 cents in. Of course, everyone is entitled to an opinion. My opinion is not necessarily a proven fact, but is based on 40 years of playing the harmonica, 25 of those as a professional. Keep in mind that there is always the possibility of an exception to any rule. That is a FACT of life. 1) The most important factor for tone is player technique! 2) Tongue blocking will give you better tone than puckering! 3) Equipment makes a very big difference in the quality of sound from your harmonica. 4) Sometimes a less expensive piece of equipment will sound better than a more expensive piece of equipment. 5) Sometimes the reverse is true. 6) Every factor in the construction of a harmonica makes a SLIGHT difference in sound. 7) Custom harps sound better, play better, and last longer than stock harps. 8) Some people have better hearing than others. I could go on, but I think I made my point. These are some of the things that I believe. You can have different believes and that is OK! If you want to disagree, do it in a nice way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
