I am selling a virtually new 70 watt** 4 x 10" speaker HarpKing amp (with
cover) for $1600.00 US. I'll pay for shipping. The colour of the amp is
"blonde" with an oxtongue grill cloth. This is my second time posting this
amp for sale. I had lots of interest when I posted it last June, but no firm
bites. I've had a busy summer, and am just now getting back to putting my
attention back into selling the amp. **(100 watts if you replace the KT 88
power tubes with KT 90's)

Here's the story: I was playing a gig just south of the Canadian border last
fall, and on a whim, having just made a bundle of US currency put down half
of of the $1897.00 for the amp - without having tried it. (The amp brand new
is 1795.00 + 50.00 for the cover, and 52.00 for shipping) I figured, the
only way I am going to be able to really try this amp, is if I use it on
stage with my own band. In a nutshell, when I tried it - especially with my
own band and the eclectic variety of music styles that I cover, I realized
it simply wasn't "my sound".

Having said that, this amp moves way more air than my Fender reissue '59
Bassman with a truly remarkable bottom end and bark. For me personally , the
amp lacks a certain higher mid "chime" that I am personally partial to in my
reissue Bassman. This is obviously a very subjective opinion.

The amp is as good as new. I acquired the amp in mid May just over 3 months
ago, and I used the amp a total of 5 times over the next 3 weeks. It has
since then been waiting patiently in my apartment for a new owner.

If you have any questions about the circuitry, you can always phone John,
the amp tech at Kinder and he would be happy to answer any questions. He
knows that I am trying to sell the amp. Apparently, I am the only one who
has ever wanted to return the amp , but they don't take returns as they are
a very small company. According to John at Kinder, there was one other
person who didn't like it - he apparently after he had sold it turned
around and shortly there after, bought another one (or TWO if I remember the
story correctly! - ask John). Presently, there is a 6 month waiting period
for new orders. Without trying to sound like a snake oil salesman....you
could have this amp for as long as it takes for me to ship it to you. Please
email or phone me (# below) if you have any questions. Or, tell a friend, if
you know someone else that is seriously interested in a 4 x 10" HarpKing.

Sincerely, Carlos del Junco
