Dear List,
There have been numerous emails about my Bona Rhythm Etudes and my Scales and Arpeggios; these were never published and are NOT in book form - just loose music and a CD as to how to play them. If you want packaging, you will have to do the design yourself - this is about learning music, not selling well-packaged books.
You are buying my experience as a teacher - Harmonica players that have studied with me include: Sugar Blue, Mike Turk, William Galison, Richard Hunter, Rob Paparozzi, Clint Hoover, Don Brooks, Damien Masterson, Randy Hennes, Rodrigo, etc.
The scales and arpeggios alone, if practiced for an hour a day, will take about ten years to master. So if your looking for a quick fix or all the tricks, don't buy this Method; if your looking for the real deal just like all other instrumentalists practice from, then this is it.
SCALES AND ARPEGGIOS - $100US with CD and including shipping. 1 . Scales to the 5th (24 major and minor scales) 2. Scales of an octave through the 24 major scales and their relative minors. 3. Bona Rhythm Etudes
Improve your sight-reading, sight-singing, rhythm, phrasing and technique.
These exercises are perfect to help with studio work, general rhythm, and general musical knowledge. They come with a CD where I play the etudes to a click track and explain how to subdivide the difficult rhythms.
Learn solfeggio with these exercises , record them to click yourself and phrase with a rhythmical sense. They are meant to be done one per week and will seem deceptively easy; only after 100's of reps on each exercise will you understand their difficulty.
There is no package or fancy book here; just music and a CD plus about 25 years of my knowledge on learning, singing, playing, teaching and phrasing these pieces. If you were taking private lessons with me, these would cost you thousands of dollars to learn. The cost is $100.00 including the CD and shipping.
