Quick to offer advice, information and a good joke ("GOOD" being the active
word) It was a group that held respect to other played beyond their skill
levels, everyone began at some point even the best. Sure there were
discussions, Wood/plastic, Popper's playing style, TOO mush electronics...
"le rif".... but we had fun with them.

Thank you for reminding us.

I believe that there are about 3000 harmonica people on this list. I find
it comforting that it is only a small handful of writers who are so
insecure that they have to boast about their ability.

A few months ago I said about somebody privately, in paraphrase, 'the truly
great are recognised by Acclamation, not Declaration'.

A list of this type gains it's character and power by the interaction of
many people positively inputting to it. Building takes a lot longer than
destroying. The reality is that this is the sort of silliness which could
easily do just that, destroy harp-l.

I too loved the magic of this list which helped change my life... this
magic is being obscured (it's not absent)by loud, silly inconsequential
rubbish.

Again. Thank you Steve.
