Subject: Bluesharp.org Online Jam Starting Up

Hi all!

I don't think this email got through to Harp-L on my first attempt, so
I'm
sending it again.

The 3rd Bluesharp.org Online Jam, www.Bluesharp.org/jam.html ,
has officially started. This Jam will run for 6 months. Drop by and
listen to Mitch Weiss and myself do a little jamming and welcome
everyone aboard! The songs and conversation from the previous two
jams are now accessible from the Jam Forum. There was some really
great music last time. The submissions stretched the harp in all
sorts of directions with all sorts of creative, traditional
interpretatons in between.

For this jam, the good people at AntakaMatics, Inc donated an
entire set of 7 Turbolids in all colors for First Prize, and the new
Turboharp AX-S20, for a second prize. For third prize there is a
Fender BASSMAN Lunch Box. Ok, it's only a lunch box, but the amp was
too expensive. The first prize winner also receives 2 Special 20's in
the key of A and E. Hey, I wouldn't want to ship you some Turbolids
without you having something to wrap them around!

For this jam, we have 3 songs you can try your hand at, ranging
from easy to advanced. There is something for everyone! Mitch Weiss
wrote 2 of the songs and he will officiate as co-host in the Jam
Forums. The advanced jam requires some overblows or a chromatic
harmonica and Mitch is hoping to spark up some conversation.

The prizes are great, but, of course, the jam is not really about
winning prizes. It's about playing music, listening to other people's
music, and sharing with your peers. Stop on by and have some fun!
