I am unfamiliar with much of Levy's work (in addition to being unfamiliar with much of Weltman, Michalek, or other's work), so I need to ask this question: can an overblown note be held for several bars of a slow tune with a soft, sweet vibrato? It seems to me that the overblown notes' tendencies towards flatness, squealing, or unstability would make it difficult to hold an overblown note in a ballad.

If the diatonic harmonica is unable to make all twelve notes in a chromatic scale with the same capabilities for nuance, could one still call it a chromatic instrument?
