Here are 2 nice tricks that supplement great harmonica music.



a) go to Target or a bike shop and pick up a battery powered LED flashing
light that is small. Hold it in front of the harmonica (or affix it with
velcro) and turn the lights down. Your harp will shine in your hands and
it looks awesome from the stage, this red light illuminating your face and
hands.



b) In Nashville, I used this technique, Go to a magic store and buy a hand
held flame thrower. It runs on small batteries and shoots out tiny wads of
flashpaper. It is hidden and held in the right hand while playing harp. At
the climax of your solo, hit the button AND CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!! It looks
like the harp is a wild flamethrower.Be carefull where you aim it, keep it
away from other people, you should point it straight up.
